The raspberry canes are showing fresh growth and need to be separated and put in the ground now. The variety we have this year is ‘Polka’. Some canes can be cut down to 60cm above the ground for a crop in July and others can be cut down to ground level for an autumn crop.

My next challenge will be listing the herbaceous perennials at the nursery – so many varieties, with more ready for sale every day and it keeps changing!
