We have had a bumper crop of apples and pears from our pot grown trees this year.
It is tidy up time at the nursery. Lots of weeding and dead-heading to prolong the flowering of herbaceous perennials, tender perennials and bedding plants.
The shrubs are putting on their final flush of growth before autumn sets in. Some are already showing autumn colours.
