We have been busy at the nursery sowing, potting up, dividing herbaceous perennials, weeding etc.
Seedlings in the cosy propagation tunnel are thriving. The first lot have been potted up including sweet peas, tomatoes (10 varieties this year!), lobelia, geraniums, petunias, broad beans…Lots more being sown and germinating including cosmos, marigolds, salvias, cucumbers, courgettes, spinach, beetroot, chard…..
In the potting tunnel we have potted up some of the first lot of brassicas with snapdragons, onions and parsleys waiting their turn.
The sandbed is filling up fast with the bare root perennials we potted up earlier and more that we are dividing and potting up….
It’s all go despite the erratic weather.
